With a successful prototype in the bag I built a plan.
The plan covered several months and focused on the continuation of the development. This was done in the regular stages of game development: the alpha and afterwards - the beta.
For the alpha I made a list of features to be implemented, some completely new while others were improvements on items from the prototype.
This resulted in the creation of my first design documents, which followed with excel sheets to build structures for levels, monitor bugs and much more.
Just like it was in the prototype stage - there were setbacks and tough spots and also moments of jumping from pure joy when solutions appeared, were implemented and proved to work. Day and sometimes night, the work went on.
